About Cury School:

Cury School is a new primary school catering to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Cury school is situated in a beautiful and inspiring part of Cornwall and is a satellite provision of Nancealverne School in Penzance. We pride ourselves on providing tailored support and education to empower our students to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Role Overview:

This is an exciting role that will suit a dynamic and flexible Individual who enjoys working as part of a Multidisciplinary Team, to ensure quality standards are met for the pupils we support. The purpose of the role is to support the further development of high-quality therapeutic work. You will work closely with the therapy teams to embed therapeutic practices and support in delivering, promoting, recording and demonstrating best, evidenced- based practice to meet the individual needs of learners.

Experience of supporting pupils with SEMH needs, severe physical and/or learning difficulties is desirable for this position.

Experience in a school setting is desirable.

A warm and empathetic personality is vital, as is a desire to work professionally with others to ensure we provide the best possible support for our pupils.

A commitment to continuing professional development is necessary; we work closely together, and roles may be interchangeable to meet children’s needs.
