Pauline worked as one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors of schools from 2004 until September 2013.

She has considerable leadership experience as a senior leader in a secondary school, as senior adviser in a local authority and as a Managing Inspector for OFSTED. She has particular expertise in work with schools causing concern and those requiring improvement. She also led one of the first inspections of local arrangements for supporting school improvement. Pauline’s particular areas of expertise are in school improvement in both the primary and secondary sectors and leadership management.
