The Special Partnership Trust, wishes to consult on:
The development of Karder Hub provision, a satellite of Curnow School, a member of The Special Partnership Trust.
We are writing to you with details of a proposal to create a satellite provision of Curnow School, a member of The Special Partnership Trust.
Special Partnership Trust is an equitable partnership of schools and specialist provision, with schools in Devon and Cornwall. The Trust are ambitious for excellence in learning and support, constantly seeking to improve the offer to SEN young people and their families through collaboration, challenge and cooperation across the partnership.
The Trust want to develop the satellite provision to provide a SEN Hub of 9 places. The size and locality of the school will provide capacity to meet SEN need in the mid/East of the county.
The satellite provision proposed opening to pupils is January 2025.
We wish to consult members of the wider community about the proposal. The consultation period will start on the 05/11/24 and end at 5:00pm on the 29/11/2024. We will be holding a teams event on 20th November.

As part of the consultation there will be the opportunity for members of the community to ask the Trust and school leadership about the proposal to develop a satellite provision.
